Dr. Jennifer Wu

Dr. Jennifer Wu is a practicing board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist in New York City.

She graduated from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Romance Languages and Literature. She went on to earn a medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Wu completed training in OB/GYN residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.

She was recognized for 4 years as the winner of the Dr. Frederick Silverman Award for academic achievement. She also received the Dr. Marvin P. Zuckerman Award for excellence in surgery and the Lenox Hill Hospital Excellence in Research Award.

She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and also a member of the American Medical Association, the Medical Society of the State of New York and the New York County Medical Society.

Dr. Abe Shahim

Dr. Abe Shahim is a practicing board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist in New York City.

Dr. Shahim graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Middle Eastern Studies from Columbia University. He earned a medical degree from the University of Tel Aviv; Sackler School of Medicine.

He completed his internship in Ob/Gyn at Sinai/Grace Hospital in Detroit, Michigan and then completed training in OB/GYN at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.

Dr. Shahim received the Dr. Marvin P. Zuckerman Award for excellence in surgery and the Lenox Hill Hospital Excellence in Research Award.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and also an active member of the American Medical Association, the Medical Society of the State of New York and the New York County Medical Society.

He has held many leadership roles in ob/gyn including being Vice-Chairman and Director of Obstetrics at Mount Sinai West and Director of Patient Safety and Quality at Lenox Hill Hospital/Northwell Health.

Dr. Shahim has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery, particularly hysteroscopy. He has been recognized by his peers with election into New York Magazine's Top Doctors, Castle Connoly's Top Doctors, New York Superdoctors and NY Top Docs.

Dr. Melissa Duperval

Dr. Duperval graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University in New York City with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Anthropology. She finished her post-baccalaureate premedical studies at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and earned her medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford.

Dr. Duperval completed her training in gynecology and obstetrics at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City where she served as chief resident and was the recipient of several awards for excellence in teaching and research. She also received the award for compassionate patient care.

Prominent and up to date in her field, Dr. Duperval is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American Medical Association. She is also routinely nominated as a SuperDoctor.

Dr. Duperval treats the simplest and most complex health conditions that affect women in different phases of life. With a female understanding and perspective, Dr. Duperval offers time, respect, diligence, and attentive care to lower the risks of complications, treat symptoms and conditions, and improve general health and quality of life.

Dr. Zoya Gavrilman

Dr. Gavrilman graduated with a Bachelor of Science with distinction in Cellular Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor before completing her Doctor of Medicine from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. She finished her medical residency in obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive science at Mount Sinai West Icahn School of Medicine and Mount Sinai Beth Israel Icahn School of Medicine in Manhattan, New York City.

Recognized for her hard work and dedication to the field, Dr. Gavrilman has won several awards, such as the 2017 Ryan Program Resident Award for Excellence in Family Planning at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City. Dr. Gavrilman has many certifications, such as the neonatal resuscitation program (NRP) certification.

She’s also a member of the American College of Physicians and a junior fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Gavrilman treats pelvic pain, dyspareunia, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and many other conditions that affect women. She’s passionate about guiding women through the most important times of their lives, including adolescence, pregnancy, and menopause.

Katie Sharp, NP

As an empathic Women’s Health Specialist and Nurse Practitioner, Katie Sharp, MS, WHNP, goes above and beyond to provide the highest caliber gynecologic services for women at Manhattan Women’s Health in the Upper East Side of New York City.

Katie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee, before completing her Master of Science in Nursing, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where she won the Academic Excellence Award WHNP in 2018.

From Northside Hospital in Atlanta to the Rockdale Medical Center in Conyers, Georgia, Katie has extensive medical experience, training, and education. She was also previously a registered nurse (postpartum) at the Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.

Katie is known for her kindness, efficiency, and personalized care. She enjoys helping women to enhance their well-being and general and reproductive health.

Annie Budnick, NP

Annie Budnick, MS, FNP-BC graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Boston College and spent the majority of her nursing career in Labor and Delivery at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center. During her time at NYP, she was heavily involved in community outreach and provider education efforts to reduce racial disparities and address implicit biases in women's health.

Annie then received her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner with a Holistic specialty from New York University, where she graduated as Valedictorian and Distinguished Master's Student. Annie is committed to providing a patient-centered and holistic approach to her care so that women can feel safe, respected, and empowered when receiving care.
